GIMA Szolnok Industrial Logistic Park applied for and won the title “Scientific and Technological Park” from the Ministry of National Economy, based on the developments of 2014. “
The reason for awarding the title was constituted by, among others, the IT service centre applying the cutting-edge technology, where installed information technological devices provide the untroubled broadband data- and internet connection through the built-up fibre network besides the cloud-based server service for the enterprises, educational and other institutions.
The modern structural, innovative engineering solutions of our buildings built for enterprises, the efficient black radiating devices representing the top technology in the world, the solar cells supplying the offices and social blocks with electricity provide low operating costs for the settlers.
In addition to out investment of the electricity producing 630 KWp solar cell executed in the field of renewing energies in the park, the continuous innovation ensures further possibilities of technological investments and undisturbed operation of the infrastructure in the industrial park.

Project closing ceremony for the “Entrepreneur House Development Project of the GIMA Szolnok Industrial Park Ltd.”
The purpose of the GIMA Szolnok Industrial Park Ltd is the development and successful operation of the GIMA Szolnok Industrial Logistics Park. The justification for initiating the project came from the high demand for the premises and services of the industrial park, which could be converted into actual moving in of companies, if the area is successfully provided with suitable infrastructure. The project included the erection of a IT Service Centre having an area of 668 m2, which accommodates server bank and data centre providing state of art cloud based services. The glass fibre based wide band internet and IP-telephone services are also handled through this centre, which are prerequisites for companies expected to move in the this part, such as a banking accounting centre, a R+D+I base, or a manufacturing base that can be reprogrammed even from abroad.
Naturally, the new services will also be available to the companies that have been present in the park, thus enhancing the information technology features of the park. An outstanding feature of the development is that the high amount of electricity required by the equipment operated in the park is partly provided by the solar panel based power plant with a capacity of 500 kwp deployed in the industrial part. Further companies are invited to move in the Entrepreneur House, which is a modern building with an area of 1000 m2, and it is provided with renewable energy source, and will allow the creation of new jobs for the region.
About 15 sites were prepared within the basic infrastructural development project for the companies that are planning to move in the park. The completed public utilities include gas supply network, drinking water supply network, sewerage, rainwater sewers, electrical network and telecommunication substructure and outdoor lighting networks, as well as the access road of the affected areas. Lamp fixtures with the modern Hungarian made LED light sources are also installed in the outdoor lighting networks for the purpose of testing and experimenting. The total cost of the project was close to net 600 million HUF, to which GIMA Ltd was awarded an EU grant of 299,865,000 HUF within the New Széchenyi Plan North-Plainland Operative Program.
The third industrial deployment project of the GIMA Szolnok Industrial Logistics part has been completed, as a result of which new buildings were erected with a total area of 4600 m2 with a total value of 600 million HUF.
The purpose of the GIMA Szolnok Industrial Park Ltd is the development and successful operation of the GIMA Szolnok industrial Logistics Park. The justification for initiating the project came from the high demand for the premises and services of the industrial park. The project included the construction of entrepreneur houses with areas of 2409 and 2166 m2, which are provided with state of art head building part and connected hall, which could be used even as manufacturing plants thanks to their size and arrangement, and which can accommodate the assets of at least 5 companies during the years after commissioning.
The successful implementation of the project and the subsequent renting of facilities are assisted by the completed preparatory activities, as well as by the services included in the project and the activities promoting the investments. The plant halls are provided by the state of art and most efficient and energy saving Kübler black radiators and infra radiators using renewable energy. An electric generating unit is associated with each plant hall having a capacity of 50 kwp, which works with solar panels. The companies moving in the entrepreneur houses could create nearly 50 direct jobs for the region.
The total budget of the project is nearly net 600 million HUF, to which GIMA Ltd was awarded an EU grant of 299,865,000 HUF within the New Széchenyi Plan North-Plainland Operative Program. From now on the GIMA Szolnok Industrial Park Ltd will be capable of offering beneficial flexible business instruments for the small and medium companies intending to move in for meeting the requirements for development of their premises in the Industrial Park located at the western side of Szolnok.

Stage III of „A GIMA Szolnok Industrial Park Ltd Entrepreneur House Development Project” ÉAOP1.1.1/A-132013-0005
Project description:
Two entrepreneur houses will be constructed within the project, including the associated public utilities. The buildings of Entrepreneur House 4 and Entrepreneur House 5 will be available for the producing and service provider companies that are expected to move in.
Floor areas:
Planned Entrepreneur House 4:2.408,92 m2
Planned Entrepreneur House 5.:2.166,6 m2
A hall part with a headroom of 6 m will be established within the planned buildings, and two social and office blocks will be established at two levels. Black-white locker rooms separately for men and women will be established at the ground floor for blue collar workers, while offices will be constructed at the first floor with separate sanitary unit for the office staff.
The hall part will be established with two compartments, between which a sliding door will be installed to allow passage within the building. Sectionalized gates will be used for each unit to allow access, and canopies will be erected over the entrances. The buildings will be constructed with traditional building structures, and will include state of art mechanical and electrical building services, lightning protection, noise and vibration control features. The heated and thermally insulated building structures of the building comply with the relevant provisions of 7/2006 TNM and meet the requirements for energy management.
Stage III of „A GIMA Szolnok Industrial Park Ltd Entrepreneur House Development Project” ÉAOP1.1.1/A-132013-0005
The GIMA Szolnok Industrial Park Ltd received support again for its project “GIMA Szolnok Industrial Park Ltd Entrepreneur House Development Project” No. ÉAOP1.1.1/A-132013-0005. The support contract was signed on 8 August 2013 in Debrecen at the headquarters of ÉARFÜ. According to the Support Contract, the total costs of the development is 599,775,000 HUF, from which 50 % is to be paid from own resources, while the other 50 %, i.e. 299,887,500 HUF, is regarded as a grant with no obligation to pay back.
Stage II of “GIMA Szolnok Industrial Park Infrastructure, IT Service Centre and Entrepreneur House” project No. ÉAOP-1.1.1/AB-11-2012-0024
We submitted yet another application under the title “GIMA Szolnok Industrial Park Ltd Infrastructure, IT Service Centre and Entrepreneur House Project”, as a result of which additional development will be implemented.
Objective of the project:
The entire investment project will be implemented within the area of the Industrial Park, not as a brown field development. The two essential elements of the investment project are the construction of building and the development of the basic infrastructure.Yet another stretch of road will be constructed as part of the development of basic infrastructures, and the plots next to the road will be provided with public utilities. The public utilities to be established include the lighting of the road, construction of gas network, construction of drinking water network, sewerage, electrical network and the telecommunication network.
The useful base area of the Entrepreneur House is 1048.06 m2, which could provide area for one or more companies according to the plan of the investor. The hall parts can be divided according to the needs along the lines of the lattices (main girders) using metal framework and plasterboard lining established up to the ceiling. In the office-social block the companies could use common sanitary blocks separately for men and women, while offices and conference rooms are available for them at the first floor.
The Tenant plans to start special data park information technology services (server hosting, storage place, virtual server renting) in the IT Service Centre, which has a useful area of 668.64 m2. The strategic plan of the GIMA Szolnok Industrial Logistics Park for 2015 includes the invitation of a company that could provide wideband modern internet services in the IT Service Centre.

Stage I of the “Gima Szolnok Industrial Logistics Park Infrastructure, Entrepreneur House development project” No. ÉAOP-1.1.1/A-2.KÖR-2008-0004
The Gima Szolnok Industrial Park Ltd submitted an application and was awarded a support in 2008 for its project entitled “Gima Szolnok Industrial Logistics Park Infrastructure, Entrepreneur House development project”. The planned project was implemented within the premises of the Gima Szolnok Industrial Park Ltd. The net value of the project is 648.807.622 HUF, and was implemented with the support from the EU, using the associated financing by the European Regional Development Fund, thus the support by the EU amounts to 50 % of the total value.
A road, together with all kinds of public utilities, was constructed in the first stage of the investment project as the extension of the Újszászi road between the Nagysándor József road and the Budapest-Szolnok railway line. This stretch of road also serves as an access road to the development area of the industrial park having an area of 40 ha. As a result of the completed works, public utilities were established for an area having a size of 10 ha, which is categorized as state owned “Industrial Park”. Two entrepreneur houses were constructed in the second stage of the investment project, which offer modern premises and business environment for Hungarian small and medium companies, which would allow their successful operation. Production and storage area are available in suitable sizes and quality, which have a low operating cost, and sanitary and office blocks with modern infrastructure are available for helping the work of the companies. Within a separate premises occupying an area of 5500 m2, one of the two entrepreneur house has a useful area of 1334 m2, while the other has an area of 507 m2. It is expected that fifteen new jobs will be created by the investment project through the basic and associated services at the companies moving in, and the project will ensure regular work for local companies and entrepreneurs.

After long negotiations installation of a manufactory introducing a state of the art technology has come near to us in the Gima Szolnok Industrial Logistics Park, at the development area under construction at Újszászi út.
The planned greenfield investment intends to establish a modern led manufactory. As a result of the investment more than 100 working place will be founded and a very new production technology can be introduced which may have a more important impact on the development of the park and of the industry of Szolnok as the present investment. fair and market between 27-30 of May 2008. Besides foreign investors we intend show settling opportunities in the industrial park and advantages thereof to interested hungarian micro, small and middle-sized undertakings. On behalf
of MTVT, Anikó Andriska chief secretary disclosed that experiences of former years show there is an emerging inquiry on the part of hungarian undertakings after sites in the industrial park assuring modern operational conditions.

Industrial park widens out
As a result of construction workson the 25th of April 2008 the operational area of Gima Szolnok Industrial Logistics Park widens out, because Gábor Gérnyi appointed head of department signed our demand on widening the industrial park.
The operational area of the industrial park has widen thereby to 868.611 m2. We are proud of this development because many have understood that the opportunity of the future is teamwork and therefore they have joined our integration. At
the moment 46 companies from 5 countries employ 1626 workers inside the park. The value of investments exceed USD 89 million. Main settled sectors are following:

Agreement on installation of energy-saving lighting systems
On the 15th of April 2008 Gima Szolnok Ipari Park Kft. has agreed with ITL Energy Kft. on the propagation of energy-saving lighting systems to interested undertakings. Substance of the agreement is to present the intelligent energy-saving
lighting systems developed by the Italian Beghelly company to interested parties. If they need the system, an offer will be made for installation after consultation and factual measurement. The essential thing is that the investment shall not
be paid right away, it shall be paid even from energy savings during 7 years. According to experiences, besides advantages of the modern system the former energy will be 10% lower than before, instalments included. In case of agreement
the industrial park contributes to realization and assures continuous maintenanceof installed systems. Those who are interested shall contact Gergely Csonka

An agreement has been concluded between the College of Szolnok and Gima Szolnok Ipari Park Kft.
Péter Székely, Dr the rector of the College of Szolnok and László Koós managing director of Gima Szolnok Ipari Park Kft. have signed an agreement on cooperation,in the frames whereof the College cooperates in the service, educational, tendering and R+D activities within the frame of Gima Szolnok Industrial Park Kft. By undersigning the agreement parties stated that the agreement assures only an opportunity to the parties but they need hard and persistent work to fulfil the opportunities outlined in the agreement with really serious content. In the first step the services of the College is intended to approximated to interested undertakings settled in the industrial park. Furthermore, they want to provide advisory, tendering and accounting services. Gima Szolnok Ipari Park Kft. wishes to help the students of the College to obtain professional practice and to choose subject for reserch thesis by involving undertakings in the program settled in the industrial park. Both parties have disclosed their confidence to realize a common project serving basicly new directional economical reasons,
but this shall be handeled as confidential until termination of negotiations.

Organisation of industrial park services has began
Bearing the title "Industrial Park" of the state lays a charge on its holder the Gima Szolnok Ipari Park Kft. One o the purposes of the industrial park is to create an advantageous economical environment to settled undertakings.
One of its elements is organisation of such service systems which facilitate operation for undertakings and insures costs efficiency by outcourcing out-of-profile activities. On behalf of management of the industrial park we purposed to establish
an integrated service system, in conformity with needs of the companies during implementation. We purposed as first starting security services, furthermore, based thereon the cleaning and gardening services. We believe that after consultations
with company managers we will able to reach a cost efficient solution in above themes and in other requirements as well. Increase of future competitiveness requires teamwork of the companies in order to reduce costs. The industrial
park wishes to contribute in this organizational work and to achieve common conceptions.
Preliminary terrain correction industrial development area has began
Preliminary terrain correction works required to investments on development area of the industrial park ahs began on the 10th of May 2007. In the frame thereof the aggradation of the area with inert rubble on relevant sites to 86 m baltic level has began. Container station and required infrastructure has been established in order to receive aggradation materials and to organise works. During the works, in connection with equal opportunity program also workers with disabilities has been employed by Gima Szolnok Ipari Park Kft.

Clean-up on the development area of Gima Szolnok Industrial Logistics Park
In cooperation with the municipality of Szolnok city the Gima Szolnok Ipari Park Kft. has performed a clean-up in Szolnok, along Újszászi út. The clean-up had to be performed because of rubbish placed illegally along the road. Works
took more than one week and more than thousand m3 of rubbish had to be removed. Long after, as result of the cleaning at last normal conditions has been established along the road. We thank to participants for their work and the promoters Ferenc

We have obtained the title "Industrial Park" of the state
In her letter dated 2nd of April 2007 Ildikó Cservenyák, Dr. the competent head of department of Ministry of Industry has notified Gima Szolnok Ipari Park Kft. that his application for bearing the title "Industrial Park" of the state was successful. After three years of organisational work our activity in the industrial park has come to an important milestone. By holding the title, the way is now free for other organizational works. Companies who joined the

Park of complexe opportunities
A new settling wave can be expected in the Gima Szolnok Industry Park where 32 companies have already been settled. Though there is an area with silimar function on the southern part of the city the opportunities have not been exploited
yet. Many people have great expectations concerning the 40 ha which is ths so-called development area of the Szolnok Ipari Park Kft. One of these people is László Koós, managing director of GIMA who counts on good traffic and geographical
situation. It is a fact, that the triangular area between Nagysándor József utca and Újszászi út has many facilities. The old road Nr. 4 is close, andthe join of M4 and M8 highways under construction will be 4 km far from this
park of 100 ha. You can reach the motorway M3 direction Graz, Rábafüzes, Veszprém, Dunaújváros, Kecskemét and Eger on motorway. Ferihegy airport which is situated 75 km far from here can be reached in 50 minutes, and two other airports are
even closer. One of these is suitable for starting and landing of smaller airplanes and the larger military airport with concreted flight-strip operating day and night is also suitable for larger machines upon former notification. The area
disposes all of the facilities which make Szolnok to one of the logistic sub-centres of Hungary. One of the largest railway junction can be fouund in the city. Most of the goods going to Ukraine and Russia will be taken over here and passenger
and freight trains in direction Balkan and Eastern Europe start also from here.Further advantage is Tisza which is a third category riverway. The issue of the Main can be reached along the Danube and the Main, and in southern direction
the Black Sea can be reached as well.
Besides logistic points of view own opportunities of the industrial park are also important. The managing director emphasizes that undertakings are received not even with fully improved sites. It is natural that water, gas, electricity
and canal are already available or will be available by settlement owing to continuous development, but also infrastructural network and optical wires are laid down. The Kft. offers its services on market prices (banking, postal servcices, event organisation, interpreting) which are generally used by the
partners.
Owing to its approved local partners, the GIMA Szolnoki Ipari Park Kft. renders help to setting companies even by planing and implementing, and if required also by operation. Besides the management is also working on acquisition of resources required to investments. They try to use the opportunity that industrial park developments in this area may receive the largest subventions under the seven domestic regions within Észak-Alföldi Operative Program.
Alltogether 39 regular, square sites of half and one hectare can be formed. This means at farthest so many companies can settle here, but sites can be merged, therefore final number can be even smaller. In the sight of László Koós 1400 workers are already working on the area which can have a brilliant future. Opportunities are good because logistic facilities are excellent and newcomers can have highly qualified employees locally. Furthermore, workers can participate on useful trainings and retrainings concerning market activity. According to his estimations a yearly turnower of HUF 10 billion can be reached by undertakings in the industrial park. Different companies can be found here: representatives of timber industry, tool engineering, paper converting, commercial, glue manufacturer and car distributor industry and non-ferrous metal exploiter and air condigion service can be also found here. Under well-known companies can be found Jászkun Volán and Béres Pharamaceutical Enterprise. The managing director emphasizes that protection of the environment is realised not even by changing the uncultivated wooded area by a replacement wood, but also in every other aspects. Settled companies purpose building-up a closed technology
system for utilization of rubbish issued between incoming of raw material and outgoing of end-product.
The technical implementation of the application on the subject of “Development of a Competitive Business Environment” within the framework of the “Economy Development Operative Program” in the GIMA Szolnok Industrial Park.
The competitiveness provided by the modern and developed business environment ensures operating and economic advantages for the enterprises wanting to settle in the Industrial Park later and those currently working in the park. An integrated part of the basic infrastructure provided by the park is the information technological background. This information communication potential is of prominent importance in order to ensure competitiveness, therefore GIMA Szolnok Ipari Park Kft. deals with it as a prominent target field, and as possible, it brings these modern information communication technologies within accessible closeness – through partnerships – for its partners, companies working in the industrial park.
Therefore the development aims worded in the GOP-2013-3.3.2 application on the subject of “Development of a Competitive Business Environment” entering the implementation phase are integrally adapted to the objectives of the previously implemented “Infrastructure, IT Service House and Entrepreneurs’ House Development Projects”.
The aim of the Industrial Park is to provide wideband internet service operating with the most up-to-date technology for the companies wanting to settle within the framework of the project. A part of the development implemented in the project is expansion of the information communication basic infrastructure covering several areas – wideband internet service -, as well as the existing service portfolios. The transmission technical system to be procured is adjusted to the special expectations arising from the nature of the development. The optic network to be built up, (installation of IP telephone), the licences related to the development (storage, recording of digital contents, application of virtualisation technologies, WEB technologies), the rights to use resources, as well as the migration tasks, the WEB-based integration of the system all serve the provision of the competitive business environment for both the market partners and those wanting to settle.
The development to be implemented consists of the following main parts:
- procurement of devices for the wideband optic network, obtaining licences, utilization of services, as well as marketing activities connecting to release in the market.
The scheduled implementation period of the project is from 02.01.2014 to 31.12.2015.
The total budget of the project is nearly 500 million HUF, to which GIMA Szolnok Ipari Park Kft. contributes with HUF 243,190,570, the European Union within the framework of the Economy Development Operative Program with HUF 206,711,984, and the Hungarian State from the budget with a subsidy of HUF 36,478,586.
